Verohanitra Andriambolanoro has over 7 years of experience in the tourism sector. She is currently a Manager, with the Tourism and Infrastructure (renewable energy) sectors at the Economic Development Board of Madagascar (EDBM). As the official Investment Promotion Agency in Madagascar, EDBM helps to unlock binding constraints and catalyze domestic and international investment throughout Promotion, Facilitation, and Aftercare.

Verohanitra holds a Master of Science degree in Tourism studies from Universitas Gadjah Mada Indonesia. She is committed to attracting more investment and to assist companies realize their projects in Madagascar in the tourism industry. In 2018, Verohanitra was one of 700 young African leaders from across the continent to be selected as part of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders (MWF), a flagship programme of the Young African Leaders Initiative. Thanks to her contribution to the investment promotion, she anticipates more projects to emerge and flourish, which will have a positive impact on the development of Madagascar.
