Pascal comes from a background with a vast management experience in luxury hotels in the USA, Asia and Middle East, having had tenures with Ritz-Carlton Hotels, Hyatt International and for nearly ten years with Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts, with whom his last position was that of Area General Manager in China. Periods in between also saw him twice in a Hospitality Real Estate consultancy capacity in Amsterdam.
Pascal arrived to Oman 4 years ago, spending the first 2 years in Omran, the largest government hospitality developer in Oman, as a Managing Director for the “Dhiaffa” subsidiary. In that period Pascal was responsible for the successful launch the Atana Hotels brand, while also being responsible for a portfolio of independent hotels. He then moved to Golden Group Holding in 2016, one of the largest Real Estate developers in Oman and is, as Managing Director for the newly established company “Areej Hospitality”, responsible for the full Hospitality Investment portfolio of outsourced hotels and mixed-use development, handling the full investment cycle for all Hospitality assets, from feasibility, funding, to asset management. The hospitality portfolio of completed and projects under development of Golden Group now stands at US$ 950 million, with multiple other projects under consideration and discussion at the moment.
Areej Hospitality also provides menu based Hospitality consultancy services to external clients, covering all aspects of the hotel investment cycle.
Pascal holds a Bachelor degree from the Hoge Hotelschool Maastricht (Netherlands) as well as a Masters Degree in Finance & Investment from the London Metropolitan University (UK).
