With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, a diploma in Hospitality Management and an E-Cornell certification in Restaurant Profitability, Real Estate, and Valuation, the young Lebanese hotelier founded Darwiche Worldwide Legacy (DWL) in 2010, and ultimately launched the luxury hospitality brand Jannah Hotels & Resorts in 2011.
Nehme Imad Darwiche started his career as Stewarding Supervisor before progressing to leadership roles with Anantara Hotels & Resorts. A predestined meeting with a real-life Bedouin, of whom he dreamt planting olive trees in the desert and ultimately helped spark a vision that fashioned what Jannah Hotels & Resorts is today, Nehme launched the luxury brand in 2013 and redefined hospitality founded on the noble Bedouin culture.
Nehme’s firm belief of the hotel group’s successful expansion is an unsurprising characteristic of a man with deep attachment to the indigenous UAE traditions, putting passion into his exceptional make-it-happen skills. He spearheads the vision and ensures that every step from well-devised strategies through to detailed operational management initiatives, are delivered professionally and successfully.
In March 2016, another luxury brand, Andalus Hotels & Resorts was launched with its flagship property Al Seef Resort & Spa by Andalus.
From hotel operator to investor, DWL has aggressively explored potential business opportunities beyond the hospitality industry. Today DWL has so far been successful in overseeing the following under its umbrella: the Jannah brand which manages seven hotels with five more projects in the pipeline, the Andalus brand, a five-star housekeeping facility, a luxury chauffeured car rental service, and a high-end laundry service. A list of investment projects is also underway for development in the UAE and elsewhere.
