Nigel’s early career was in hotel operations and sales & marketing with Rank Hotels and Gleneagles Hotels. In 1996 he joined the hospitality advisor team in PKF’s London office, where his initial role was undertaking market studies and valuations in the EMEA region. Following this he moved to PKF’s hotel property team, advising owners and developers on both individual and portfolio transactions. After nine years with PKF, Nigel joined Vision Hospitality Asset Management, where he worked as part of a team asset managing RBS’s UK Marriott and Hilton hotel portfolios. In 2008 he opened an office in Dubai to serve Vision’s growing list of clients in the region, and to develop new business. In 2010 he moved to TDIC, a master developer of hotels and tourism assets in Abu Dhabi. Here he asset managed, in both the pre-opening and operational phases, five Anantara managed, and two Starwood managed, hotels, as well a number of other hospitality assets. In 2015 Nigel was a founding partner of Arc ConsultingPartners, a multi-disciplinary hospitality and real estate advisory firm, and is based in Bangkok.
