Vincent Joyner is a seasoned multi-national business executive and entrepreneur. He is currently CEO of Hospitality Investment Partners Africa (HIP Africa) focusing on partnership with regional and international investors growing hotel investments in Africa. Up to December 2016, he was CEO at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (‘JSE’) publicly listed Hospitality Property Fund Limited (HPF). HPF owns 25 hotels operated under the Westin, Protea by Marriott, African Pride, Radisson, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Southern Sun, Garden Court and AHA brands. While at HPF, Vincent negotiated the collapse of the A&B share structure into a single share class with shareholders, sold 8 hotels, bought another 10, restructured the asset management organisation and negotiated the merger with another listed entity. Previously he worked with the Accor Hotel group for almost 20 years in various positions including CEO of Accor Southern Africa, as well as other Director, CEO and Managing Director roles of listed and private entities for Accor. He also devoted several years of his life to the less advantaged members of our society and created an accredited Private Higher Education Institution, Zazida, dedicated solely to entrepreneurship development.
